Syncing Accounts to QuickBooks Online

How to reconnect or resync your bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

If your bank account stops syncing with QuickBooks, we will email you to notify you that you need to reconnect the accounts. To do this, you can follow these steps:

  1. First, go to Transactions, then to Bank Transactions, which will take you to a tab displaying all your bank accounts.
  2. Look for an orange dot next to the account that is not syncing properly. 
  3. You will also see the date of the last successful sync. 
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by QuickBooks. They will guide you through the process step-by-step.
  5. Click on the "Fix" button for the highlighted account (indicated in blue). This will prompt you to enter your login credentials.
  6. Continue with any other accounts with the orange information dot.
